Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Black Grove Design Company LLC, our products and services are created with care and, in many cases, are made specifically for our customers. Because of the handmade and custom nature of our work, our refund and cancellation policies vary depending on the type of purchase.
Handmade Wood Art & Home Décor
Because each piece is handmade, all sales are generally final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or personal preference.
Natural variations in wood grain, color, knots, stone, and other materials are part of the character of handmade products and are not considered defects. Slight variations between pieces are expected and make each item unique.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the item and its packaging. We will review the issue and, when appropriate, may offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and delivery information. We are not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.
Custom Orders
Custom and made-to-order pieces require additional time and materials. Custom orders cannot be canceled once work has begun.
If you need to cancel a custom order, please contact us as soon as possible. If work has not yet begun, we may be able to accommodate the cancellation. Any applicable refund will be determined based on materials purchased and other costs already incurred.
Graphic Design Services
Graphic design projects are custom services and are handled according to the terms of the individual project agreement or quote.
Payments for work already completed, approved expenses, purchased materials, or other non-refundable project costs are generally not refundable.
If a client cancels a project after work has begun, any refund or remaining balance will be determined based on the work completed, expenses incurred, and the terms of the project agreement.
For larger or custom graphic design projects, a written agreement may include additional terms regarding deposits, payments, revisions, cancellations, deliverables, and usage rights.
